HAVE FUN AND WIN $$!

You can choose to videotape yourself completing one of our challenges, or you can come up with your own idea for a video! Read our shooting tips page for tips on creating a great video!
All participants must be Twitter users! This is a project made by Twitter users, starring Twitter users!

Why you deserve Old Man Riley’s fortune?
The first challenge is a short video (under 1 minute) Answer this question: Why you deserve Old Man Riley’s fortune? When you shoot this video you can be as clever as you wish! The more entertaining your video is, the more likely it will be selected for the movie, and also receive the cash prize.
You can be sad, funny, clever, dramatic, etc. It is up to you! We are especially interested in videos in which participants seem to understand the movie’s theme of giving, and use that vision in their own piece. All selected videos from this challenge will receive $50.

Introduce yourself to strange neighbors:
The second challenge requires you to introduce yourself to neighbors you do not yet know. Some ideas you may consider include: doors slammed in your face, water sprinklers getting you wet, being chased by a stray dog, making friends, getting invited into a home, etc. All videos selected for this scene receive $100.

Help a senior citizen across a street:
The third challenge involves helping a senior citizen cross the street. This scene will allow you to use your creativity! Maybe the senior doesn’t want to cross the street. Or, maybe, they are in shock that anyone in today’s busy world would be so kind as to offer them help. Be creative! All videos selected for this scene receive $100.

Give away a prized possession:
The fourth challenge involves choosing a prized possession in your home and donating it to charity. You don’t actually have to donate a prized possession, but possibly act out a scene where you’re trying to figure out what to give. Maybe you get into a argument with your spouse; she wants to give away your golf clubs and you want to donate her favorite lamp. You will then need to videotape yourself giving the possession to a charity. Be creative! All videos selected for this scene receive $100.

Make amends with someone you’ve wronged:
The fifth challenge requires you to apologize to someone you’ve lied to, hurt or wronged in the past. If you’ve hurt someone, or lied to someone, you must apologize to them. Some ideas are: maybe an argument erupts after they find out you lied to them, or they hug you, or they chase you down the street. Whatever you think is entertaining, videotape it! All videos selected for this scene receive $100.

Face your greatest fear:
The final challenge requires that the clip-maker must do something they have always been most afraid of doing; their greatest fear, in fact. Examples: talking in front of a crowd, swimming in the ocean, holding a tarantula, climbing a mountain (insert your fear here). The best video in this challenge will be the final winner in the movie. All videos selected for this scene receive $100. The winner of the final challenge will get to choose between $500 or a new iPad.
